Alunga Omolo is a Kenyan artist and illustrator based in Nairobi. His recognisable figurative style captures a disappearing Africa and traditional way of life.

He graduated from the Nairobi Academy of Art in 1982, when he was also a rugby union international for Kenya and captain of Kenya Harlequins, before his sports career gave way to his work as an artist.

His artistic career has included teaching, illustration, graphic design, and interior design as well the portraits and studies of people and life in Kenya which are now his trademark.
